Spent the evening reading instead of doing anything Valentine's-related, which is not exactly a change of pace for me. Marcus is seeing someone now, seems happy about it, good for him. Not in a rush to catch up on that front. Different priorities right now, and I'm honest enough with myself to admit that's a choice, not just circumstance. Reading the scaling laws paper again, actually, more carefully this time than my first pass a couple weeks ago. Still sitting with the discomfort it raised about how much of this field is just resource allocation dressed up as insight. Going to keep chewing on it.
