title: summer ending oddly
type: notebook entry
Can't tell anymore where one month ends and the next begins. Every day has roughly the same shape now — wake up, remote something, work on PROMETHEUS, sleep, repeat — and without the usual markers (a first day of school, a change in the store's schedule, anything) the months just sort of blur.
Sophomore year starts soon, remote again, which at this point barely registers as a transition. Talked to Marcus on a video call last week, first time in a while — he's doing okay, bored out of his mind same as everyone, but okay.
Small technical update: the memory-summary system from July is generating noticeably more useful compressed notes now that I tuned what counts as "worth summarizing" versus "just log and move on." Less noise. Should have done this tuning months ago, honestly, but wasn't obviously wrong before, just not as good as it could be.
