Watched the Capitol stuff unfold on my phone Wednesday between class blocks, same as everyone else I know. Didn't have words for it in the moment and still don't have great ones now. Family group chat was unusually active for a Wednesday afternoon. Not much else to report. New semester starting soon, remote again, same setup as always. Been meaning to write about a change I made to the retrieval scoring function in December but keep getting distracted — will get to it properly next entry, promise to myself more than to anyone reading this.
