Silicon Valley Bank collapsed over the weekend, apparently the second-biggest bank failure in US history. Big deal if you're in tech finance, which none of my actual circle is, so it's mostly registered here as a strange, distant news story rather than anything felt directly. Assume that changes for people I don't know personally. Feels almost rude to note it so briefly given how much it clearly matters to somebody. Finals coming up, last set of college finals I'll ever take assuming nothing goes wrong. Strange thought. Not sad about it, more just aware of it as a real ending, the first genuinely final "last time doing this specific thing" of my adult life so far.
