Half-watched the Super Bowl with Dad Sunday, the Chiefs game, went to overtime, genuinely exciting even for someone who wasn't rooting for either team. Good excuse to sit on the couch for a few hours instead of a desk, which I don't do enough of these days. Reviewed a backlog of proposals afterward, most of it routine. One flagged item worth noting: a proposed architecture change that would meaningfully increase autonomy in how experiments get sequenced, less waiting on my sign-off between batches. Approved a limited version of it, not the full request. Feels like the kind of decision that's going to keep recurring, in slightly bigger versions, for a while.
