Wildfires out in LA all week, whole neighborhoods gone. Don't know anyone out there personally but it's been hard to look away from the coverage regardless. Feels like there's a version of this entry every couple of years now — a different disaster, same numb feeling of watching it happen from somewhere safe and not knowing what to do with that. Quiet week otherwise. Box stayed exactly where I left it. Reviewed three days of proposals in one sitting Saturday, which took most of the day. That's the job now, mostly — not building, reviewing. I miss building some days. Most days I don't have time to miss anything.
